Certainly appears Bogosian is finished in Toronto. Losing a dependable veteran defenceman like that is a big loss - - especially when he was only getting $1m.

A guy like Keith Yandle would have been an excellent replacement, probably even an upgrade.

Great character, extremely durable, still a great skater and a proven PP specialist.

Getting a guy like that for 1yr $900k is exactly what Dubas should be going after.

Bogosian was way too tough.

We are really going to miss Bogo, exactly what our D needed to balance it. At best, we get a similar replacement, but chances are a flawed 3rd pairing guy, net negative. He was really good last year in his role, shame he’s leaving.
