Fantastic player, shitty human being.

Personal faults aside; the amount of joy, influence and inspiration his play gave to hockey fans is immeasurable.

RIP Bobby. One of the greats.

This man had an incredibly strong shot for his time, arguably one of the strongest shooters of all time and a great hockey player.

Rest in piece to one of the hockey greats Bobby Hull.

One of my prized possessions, courtesy of former HFB Great, Killian, aka Icehound Dan.

It sits in my curio next to signed Bobby Orr, and French Connection pucks...

The Blackhawks with Bobby Hull were the first NHL team I saw play live. It was at the Fairgrounds Coliseum, a 5,000 seat building, in a preseason exhibition game against the Columbus Checkers, a farm team for the Blackhawks. It was the inaugural season for the Checkers. The night turned into a fiasco as the game was called in the second period because the ice was so poor Hawks coaches feared potential injury. But as a kid that night what a great experience - my first live exposure to an NHL team and the Golden Jet.

I met him when I was as a kid and he was so friendly. I've been in contact with people who met him as adults and both said he was a joy to be around.

Am grateful that I had a chance to watch him in Chicago Stadium. Bobby and his brother Dennis, Stan Makita, Tony "O", Gilles Marotte, Bill White, Jim Pappin, Keith Magnuson, Pit Martin, Eric Nesterenko, Pat Stapleton...ah the memories!!! But #9 was the straw that stirred the drink.

Saw him play later in the WHA in Cincinnati with Ulf and Hedberg....what a line!

Hull is a top 5 all time player. He, like Orr, was skilled to the max and tough as nails.

R.I.P Golden Jet.

I swear its always you and a number other annoying virtuous users on here

Between him and Bruce Arthur, I'm not sure which is the worst Hockey Twitter account
I'm sorry I triggered your outrage, but it gave you an opportunity to complain about "virtuous users" which seems to be your only hobby outside of hockey and primary way of socializing.
