Rosen has a broadcasting background and I think he was a PBP guy in the WHL. They're not going to give a guy with no experience in sports broadcasting an opportunity to call a Kings game.

Heh, they did about 8 years ago when Daryl Evans did a couple of radio games when Nickson was out --fun times.

probably the biggest reason I am a kings fan, came out from NYC in 73 and had been listening to marv albert doing ranger games , but bob's voice and his passion soon got me listening to kings game and simulcast's , cheap tickets , no parking fee for my motorcycle and the 74/75 and 76 playoffs had me hooked for 4 decades .....every now and then when I need a morale boost I listen to bob's call of the cup wins ...PRICELESS
