If Laine's effort HAS improved (and it seems it has, a touch at least) then he'd be able to keep up. It would be an interesting way to spread the offence around. I strongly suspect someone much wiser in the ways of hockey could tell me why this is a bad idea but I dunno, we've tried just about everything else

Not quite sure how we’re second in the league right now but let’s take it and run!!
It’s awesome to see that 4th line play like they are and love their reaction when they scored.

This feels strange. It's like we aren't playing to our highest capacity but as it stands right now we're literally the best team in the west.

If we fire on all cylinders in playoffs this team could go to the finals, no doubt in my mind.

At this point peaking at the right time and staying healthy is what it's about. The horses are there.

It's like I've been saying -- YES, the Jets have been underperforming this calendar year. YES, they surely have a few more points in the standings than they deserve. But like you said, the horses are there. Engine's knocking a bit during the qualifying lap, that's fine, the race don't start until tomorrow and we'll be in the pole position in the West, so there's lots to like.
