For a vet, absolutely. But for a guy trying to make team you wanna see more than he showed.Eh, I don't really put much thought into preseason games. Rather have players play a safe game when the games dont matter.

I thought he was really good tonight. Not just the goal, but on the forecheck, battling for pucks, making tight turns. If he plays like this he could be a player. But consistency of course is key.But that went along with his reputation of shying away from contact. And that was exactly what Sens fans said about him - that that was one of his main drawbacks. So, it's good to see, especially on The NHL level.
It was a weak call.It was Perunovich, not Bortz.
You're right about 55-6 pair, but Scandella was going to be scratched until Bozo tested for COVID. He had lowest ice time of any of our D, and I don't know breakdown but didn't seem like he was out with Parayko hardly at all.I think he’s still riding a good first call up from last year. They have seen him do it so they know he can, but he isn’t playing NHL hockey.
I think patience can almost be a fault of leadership sometimes. Scandella as well. I don’t mind them not scratching him, but he needs to stop getting paired with 55 for patience sake. If it isn’t working, it isn’t working. Separate them for awhile at least.
Joshua gets that same patience because of impressive play last year, is my theory. He can get there tho, but up to him
He hasn't been the same (whole-at full physical peak) ever since he suffered his back injury. After all te time since he returned, it appears that he never will. He'll have to adapt his game to take into account, what exactly he can and can't do now.All the advanced stats said he was carrying JayBo.
He's not healthy. Whatever he hurt is still bothering him. He admitted as much in I think it was Korac piece. Which is all the more reason I hated his fight the other day.Is it me or has Schenn basically been invisible since he returned?
As far as I remember, Perunovich hit the player while he didn't have the puck, to keep him from getting to it. So, it could have been called interference in any case. So there should have been a penalty on him either way.It was a weak call.
He's good good size, speed, attitude, faceoff ability. He doesn't appear to have NHL level hands. But he is also on cheap contract and as tight as we are to cap, that matters too. We don't have cap room for Mac Mac in place of him.Joshua has some speed, but I need to see more. Keep him up for a few more games and see if he can figure it out.
You're not wrong, but I don't think his back is why he just stands there watching opponent score. I think he is putting too much pressure on himself to justify contract and his A and his status as #1D.He hasn't been the same (whole-at full physical peak) ever since he suffered his back injury. After all te time since he returned, it appears that he never will. He'll have to adapt his game to take into account, what exactly he can and can't do now.
He had just dumped it. Guys hit man who just got rid of it all the time and isn't called. As far as I remember, Perunovich hit the player while he didn't have the puck, to keep him from getting to it. So, it could have been called interference in any case. So there should have been a penalty on him either way.
Yes. He was too passive playing it.48 needs to have better reads there, that entire sequence was setup by allowing TB to have the puck there
The tight cap is problematic, for sure. I am cool with letting him play and see how he fits in. It's not like we have a choice anyway. He's good good size, speed, attitude, faceoff ability. He doesn't appear to have NHL level hands. But he is also on cheap contract and as tight as we are to cap, that matters too. We don't have cap room for Mac Mac in place of him.
Scandella is quickly making himself replacement level fodder. He needs to get his head on straight. Or pack his bags to Narnia.
He was a victim of some terrible bounces. What happened in the first 5 minutes wasn't normal.
Bucci is on record as saying the Blues have the best logo in all of professional sports as well.I've already said, that's a good announcing team, and I really want the Blues to hire them both.
Bucci does talk up the Blues a lot but he sounds like a fan that's announcing a game. That's good because he's less robotic than most announcers. It's bad because he can lack flow and concentration.Bucci is on record as saying the Blues have the best logo in all of professional sports as well.
emily kaplan wouldnt even have a job if not for ESPN basically giving her a free ride. shes beyond a joke.Bucci does talk up the Blues a lot but he sounds like a fan that's announcing a game. I'm sorry but the women is terrible. Not a bad announcing voice (for a female) but not much knowledge. Although she blows away the in between the benches girl...wow embarrassing
That hit did remind me of playoff mode Barby... beautiful hit!Barbashev eats babies.
Absolutely terrible call. The Blues battled all the way back and there is 7 minutes left in a 3-3 hard fought game and they call that weak interference call you see ALL OF THE TIME! Tampa starter flopping all of the place once the Blues tied it. Got 2 PPs for it.joke call after what they have let go this game
I was thinking the same thing. For all of the joking he was doing I'm surprised he didn't mention it even once.Every time he says katchouk I feel like he's mispronouncing tkachuk
I like A.J. She's also an Olympic medalist, so I'm not sure I can agree about the lack of knowledge part.Bucci does talk up the Blues a lot but he sounds like a fan that's announcing a game. was just going to ask what others thought of browns game ? only caught part of the first on the radio ..Odd start to the game but it was a fun one. First Blues game I've watched on espn and I loved the play by play from Buccigross. Thought Brown looked really solid and hope he can keep the momentum going.
