Would've been better if Schenn just took a penalty on the drawThat the was an awful :50 PP.

So we're just gonna keep losing the puck at their blue line?
Faulk has been good this year, he's not been some crazy top defensemen, but, if we had a healthy Parayko all season and Faulk playing the way he has been this year I wouldn't be too upset, and we would be in a better spot.
Krug has been bad tho, I will admit that, and I have before. If Pietro was gone no matter what, we should have gone after Brodie, or a Defense First LHD.
First 14 games:
5-3-8, +14 (0.57 PPG)
Last 29 games:
1-7-8, -6 (0.27 PPG)
Pacing for 21 points, and leading the team in ice time/game. A definite improvement over last season, but still a problem-contract that should be dumped at it's soonest opportunity. Playing big minutes is admirable and I can see why the coach loves him; but MY GOD, how low has the bar been set if Blues fans and management are hopeful that the current level of play is what will be delivered over the remaining SIX seasons?
It's becoming pretty clear that the hot start was an aberration, and that the last 2/3rds of the season-to-date or more indicative of his ability than the opening third. I guess for what he is though, a veteran 2nd-pairing defenseman, the Blues could be doing worse. But the concern is when he inevitably becomes a veteran 3rd-pairing defenseman making that kind of jack, which I suspect will happen in the next two or three season. Before that happens though, I hope Army is able to offer Ron Francis something compelling enough to have him take him (or Krug) off of our hands.
Right there that is the shit that has been pissing me off all year. 4 on 4 Bozak intercepts pass in front of Blues net, gets pressure by an Avs player and dumps it up the boards to another Avs player who luckily isn't able to keep it in. There were three other Blues on the ice, two had vacated the zone early and the 3rd was across the ice, absolutely zero puck support.
ror is onRoR is hungry tonight. Tarasenko needs to get mad. He plays elite when he's mad.
Krug needs to be sheltered, Faulk isn't strong enough defensively to cover for Krug's glaring weakness defensively.Faulk has played like a top pairing D when not paired with Krug, but that pairing is a disaster
