Blues are just out for a casual skate right now in the defensive zone. They are treating 5 on 5 hockey like it's a penalty kill because they are terrified of making a mistake.

It is 5 on 5. Put pressure on the puck carrier and collapse the passing lanes. It really isn't that complicated.

after all the 2nd period collapses, they SHOULD be trying to minimize mistakes.. they're not doing horrible about it (yes it's ugly at times) but the penalties are really what's killing them

part of that is Colorado's speed tho.. it's a killer

just survive the 2nd and make a good run in the 3rd
