Guess you missed out how he hulks out when smurfs get in his visionThat's my biggest thing with him as well, he doesn't play with an edge. What pisses him off I wonder.

Lalonde yes was assistant coach, but he was coaching. Biggest difference is he is the guy making the end decision now. I highly doubt he drastically changed his views from then to now, other than having a for obvious reasons worse material to work with.
So lets see if the gain that click over the next months. We have no need to be in a hurry. Worst case we get a better draft pick and achieve the same.
I feel like that might be...understating how bad this team is trending. If goaltending and PP comes back to earth and we sell at the deadline, I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see them end up in the 5-7 range (and maybe have a shot at Misa, Frondell, or McQueen).or start looking at drafting in the 8-15 range.

I think he will as well, in what capacity waits to be seen.I will say Perron will have a job in the NHL after he retires as a player. I think his leadership is something special.
Drastic implies to improve this year. You talk about long term deal, which to me isn't drastic.
Question is who are you giving up for what?
What makes you think Lalonde is doing something drastically different than in Tampa?
He was coaching there as well even if he didn't have the main responsibility. This fire the coach agenda right away when things goes a little worse than planned is a bad habit from fans.
Even when we were improving every year people been bitching about Lalonde without any point of view with reality.
They are not liabilities. A little overpaid, especially Veleno.
Raz been getting more and more praise before this season by management and also fans.
Should never been drafted 9th overall though.
We could expect a little more scoring of them, but overall idk they do alright.
Two?Does anyone between Edm and Detroit fan bases actually feel Tyler Wright has done a good job? His two top 10 picks with us look very pedestrian so far.
Apparently, that's almost everything our pro scouts do.. look for birthplace/college in Michigan..
Two?
Two?
He's no longer with us. Wright oversaw three top 10 picks with the Wings. Ras, Zadina, and Mo.you forget Zadina ever existed already or something?
i'll admit to being a little jealous if so
I thought yzerman was the one who wanted seiderHe's no longer with us. Wright oversaw three top 10 picks with the Wings. Ras, Zadina, and Mo.
He was. That doesn't magically make Wright not the Director of Scouting at the time.I thought yzerman was the one who wanted seider
But it means I can give him zero credit for us picking seiderHe was. That doesn't magically make Wright not the Director of Scouting at the time.
That's cool. But it means I can give him zero credit for us picking seider
i’m thinking i’m very confusedThis:
1C: Copp
2C: Larkin
3C: Kasper
4C: Motte/Veleno
Or this:
1C: Barzal
2C: Copp
3C: Kasper
4C: Motte/Veleno
Relevant centers.
What everybody think?
Maybe he meant zadina and didnt think wright was here ? Only thing that makes sense... he probably phrased it wrong... or hes an idiot lolThat's cool.
But when a different poster makes the statement, "His two top 10 picks with us look very pedestrian so far." It's important to clarify what that is referring to. He was involved with three top 10 picks in Detroit and only two are still with us. Seider is anything but pedestrian.
