team reminds me alot of the team in 2018 where they had kyle broziak centering tarasenko on the top line. only this time its our actual stars being the anchors of lines. tarasenko is not even average right now, guys career may be shot.

sanford should be scratched tbh after his play but b/c of injuries he wont

And Marc Savard was the powerplay coach, Which is why I suggested rehiring him.

He didn't re-up his contract because he left to be with family. I highly doubt he's going to be coming back any time soon. If you invent a time machine, maybe you can go back and change his mind. You might even be able to get some former players to stay.

I'll continue to throw stuff out there, but speaking straight from the heart here, we got a Cup out of all of this nonsense in the most epic way possible. I prayed. God answered. That's enough for me. From hereonin it's just whatever.

I told myself the same thing right before game 7, and I'm sticking to that. All I wanted was ONE cup in my lifetime, and that's what was given.

Getting rid of Pietrangelo is looking worse and worse every passing game. Nuff said.

I would go back and re-hire Marc Savard.

These posts demonstrate a lack of understanding. Pietrangelo left St.Louis. Marc Savard left St.Louis. St.Louis did not get rid of anyone, they both left of their own free will.

I wonder, can Parayko get a height exemption for pucks over glass like he has for a longer stick?
I have no idea, but I'd be surprised if anybody in the league comes close to the number of delay of game penalties hes earned in the last couple years. Not to mention all of his near misses.

If we could just cut down on the defensive zone turnovers, mental gaffes that result in a trip to the box, get back to playing a heavy checking game and getting the D more involved in the rush and keeping pucks in.

Whatever shit they are throwing out there right now is maddening.

And that is relevant to this current season now.

How many more years are we gonna do this sad "WE WON THE CUP, WHO CARES ABOUT THE PRESENT" stuff?

If you want to sit there and worry and concern yourself where the teams at now and in the near future, something you have NO control over, feel free and enjoy the emotions that come with that.

Ive been a Blues fan for about 30 years and watch this team blow it year. After year. After year. We somehow, in someway Went Blues and a tually won the Cup IN Boston, so you’ll forgive if some of us will armchair complain while we admire something the Sharks, Columbus, Vegas, etc. AIN’T GOT.

The Cup forgives ALL sins and heals ALL the emotional wounds for the fan base. Now the team might suck or blow it in the playoffs for a decade or more? What else is new lol.

Winning the Cup WILL NEVER GET OLD. Especially when it’s the FIRST CUP. You might win more but that first one is special, especially how we won it. Most beautiful story I’ll ever have the honor to watch. Reaffirmed my faith in a lot of things.

You should enjoy it.

Exactly. I couldn’t have said it better. The memories of the cup run will be with me forever. That was amazing. And yes, the Blues can suck for a long time, and I would be ok with that because of the cup.

I'd say we have a few more years at least! We earned it! Let us bask!

Man, I don't know how many letdowns like this I can take. I wanna bash the team, but they have actually played the Avs pretty tight lately and could have at least sent this game to OT if either Walman or Faulk hadn't coughed up the puck in their own zone. That Walman giveaway was an absolute backbreaker.

I agree with Dizee, it's kind of weird when Bozak seems to be the offensive catalyst right now but here we are. Tarasenko is basically playing like a 4th liner right now, which pains me because he's been my favorite player since entering the league and Parayko certainly isn't his usual dominant self. It's tough to win when 2 of your most important players are playing well below their best. Kind of crazy that we're still in the playoff hunt with as much as we've lost lately.

PS Novacain....one thing the Blues are better than Colorado at: not getting covid. :sarcasm:

Our top players have gone cold when we need them to get hot.

This team will enjoy the time off starting VERY SOON.

My hope is that we get back to an 82-game normal season with fans in 2021-2022. This team was just fine about 13 months ago...then COVID hit and the team has been a mess...

Does Doug Armstrong seem like the kind of person who'd engage in something like that? Not being snarky, that's a straight-up question.

Some people love the horror genre.

Maybe he can hear how he did nothing wrong and how patience of the core of this team has again reached its end, but he has to pay for the sins of the organization.

Just like the two guys before him got told when they got their walking papers.
I mean, he did it for Jax.
