I was just making an observation, honestly. It seems like he's played a ton tonight.

So when do the critics come down on David Backes for being incredibly mediocre? Seems like everyone wants to critique all other Blues, but Backes gets a free pass for being a Captain and 1st liner who hasn't performed as such all year. Seriously, he isn't needed on this team as a top line player. All year he has been nothing more than an overly glorified 3rd line center.

I get tired of everytime Perron overhandles a puck being spotlighted. At least his numbers are there. Backes hasn't brought crap all year.

I don't agree with very often, but when I do, I really do. Well said, IMO.
