When I say "something decent" I mean someone that can help the team. A 50-60 point player is probably a good start in a deal like that. Not someone young or anything, probably a vet. Maybe I'm wrong, and I am fully aware that this team is probably more than a 50 point player away from any serious contention. But I do feel like Army has his hands tied and needs to do something.

Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to trading Kyrou, but I know how valuable he is, so I'd be selective on the return.

Yes, Army has his hands tied. You know what is worse then doing nothing major in his case? Making a move to make a move even if it doesn't fix anything. A 50-60 point vet doesn't open our windos up. Its still closed tight. All we did in that case is decrease of it opening soon because we traded away 2 almost NHL ready prospects and a potentially high draft pick.

They need to make cap space to sign Kucherov and Point.

Didn’t mean to double post.

Yes. And they will make that move next off-season. Why make it now and weaken a team that goes into the year the arguable favorite to win the Eas

Brodziak was My favourite player on Blues last season. If this is how you show you to your best players what they deserve playing good season I think we'll see a lot of good players walk after their contract ends.

I'll take it tho, Broz leaving does Hurt our PK and 4th line + he was The hard working man attitude this team had and locker room Voice. Not forget his mentor effect to Kids.
Blues Will Be worse without Broz and I highly doubt no one can replace his effort what he was to this team.

Give The Blues good 1st 2019 draft pick.

You can't reward guys though. Brodziak played himself into a Brouwer/Lucic/Martin deal. I'm sure St. Louis would love to have him back and would most likely overpay in dollars but not years. You just cant spend big bucks on 4th liners. Doug's done that enough

I... Honestly am not sure who else we could have plugged to our team as a right handed shot in our top 9 in free agency other then Perron. So, depending on term, I'm okay with this.

Put him with Schwartz and Schenn and see what happens.

Also, a year after expansion, we have Perron back and Reaves is in Vegas

I’m ok with Perron. Clearly he loves the Blues.

Reportedly 4x4, and considering the prices on some of the other Free Agents in the league that’s a steal! There’s are top 9 RH RW signing. He’s not the absolute best option, but two years ago he was much improved from his younger days playing here. I’m going with a not the best, not the worst approach, he’s a slight upgrade but an upgrade at that is a positive for me, especially cause we are still in transitional phase waiting for our prospects to develop.

I like Flynn as an option for San Antonio. We needed two vet forwards and probably one vet dman to lead the rookies, and Flynn is a pretty good version of that. 6’1” RHS Center, quick, produced very well with Texas last season and was a leader in the playoffs. Good signing
