And here we go. Yes, everything that is wrong with this team is because we didn’t re-sign the guy who told his own teammates he was “looking for a new challenge “ before Army ever talked to Krug’s agent. A captain with one foot out the door; yes, he is sorely missed.

A lousy 1st Period, and an even worse 2nd! Sad times for The Blues, after such a nice winning and points earned streak that gave us some hope for this season's playoffs. The way they're playing now, they'd be lucky to win one playoff game. This team needs to add several younger, faster and more-skilled players. And they need to want to work hard to win, a lot more than this collection of players does.

"Tantrum" might be an exaggeration, but I agree, Scrappy Doo has to stop trying to show everyone how tough he is and get back to providing offense.

So what should the guy (checks notes) leading the team in points from the blueline have done differently in that situation instead to “get back to providing offense”?

Blues get back within one, and do it early, so they have time to change the whole momentum of this game, and maybe pull it out.
