Honestly, I think this team would really benefit from a full practice bag skate. Yes there are issues with execution, over passing and getting pucks through. To me though a lot of these problems are manifesting by the Blues laziness these last few. As my old coach would say, "you can't glide your way to victory." I am seeing no starts and stops everyone is just looping around.

The Blues are letting the fast, young Devils break out ahead of them. They'd get destroyed by fast teams like Colorado, in the playoffs, if they play like this. At least barbashev is skating. He had a nice wraparound chance.

All for this but think this team is just lacking an identity imho.

Chief tried to form an identity line back in November. That worked for that stretch in late November and December. Not so much lately. Instead of trying to play our game we play the opponents game and try to beat them at it. It makes for some interesting hockey when it works.

If we keep playing like this it won’t matter what Armstrong does at the deadline.

Hoping there is a switch somewhere come playoff time.

If I had to use one word to describe this team it is “Inconsistent”
