that's BLUUUUUUUUUUES Hockey, baby!Saad has the puck right next to the net, and passes well back to a man that was covered, instead of making a move on the goalie and trying a shot.
it is6-7 inches in one summer? That’s nuts lol
He grew up near Chernobyl...go figure6-7 inches in one summer? That’s nuts lol
man, it Toropchenko even had average hands he'd be dangerous.. dude can drive the net

you beat me to it!
With Toropchenko's big size, great strength, and fast skating speed, good balance and being strong on his skates and hard shot, he SHOULD be driving the net as much as possible, to help his team's offence. Despite not having soft hands, he can help his team just by creating a lot of rebounds, and when the goalie is screened, some of his shots will go in. He's a great natural as a 4th Liner who can contribute regularly to the offence. If he starts getting good results and learns from it, he might become good enough to be a regular 15-20 goal scoring 3rd Liner during his peak years.Foreshadowing?

and was a much better player than he had been used as on other teamsSeeing that Mike Sillinger's kid is playing in The NHL reminds me that I'm old. It seems like only a few years ago that Mike played for The Blues (during their dark days).
I agree 100%. That's something The Blues have needed for a long time.We are stacked right now on talent but with his size and hands he should be parked in front of the net on the power play. A full season of PP time and he could easily be a 15 goal scorer from that alone imho.
