The Blues fail to score before the period ends, but will have only 13 seconds left on it when The 3rd starts, they'd better win that faceoff, and all head for the O-Zone as a power-skating mob, heading for the net, and keeping the pressure on. Maybe they can score a quick one, even if the Jackets' fifth skater is already back on the ice. I like the way the team woke up and started playing all out, and more physically, after Berube's talk during the timeout.

Foreshadowing?
With Toropchenko's big size, great strength, and fast skating speed, good balance and being strong on his skates and hard shot, he SHOULD be driving the net as much as possible, to help his team's offence. Despite not having soft hands, he can help his team just by creating a lot of rebounds, and when the goalie is screened, some of his shots will go in. He's a great natural as a 4th Liner who can contribute regularly to the offence. If he starts getting good results and learns from it, he might become good enough to be a regular 15-20 goal scoring 3rd Liner during his peak years.

We are stacked right now on talent but with his size and hands he should be parked in front of the net on the power play. A full season of PP time and he could easily be a 15 goal scorer from that alone imho.

It's weird hearing Panger menton my city Medicine Hat. There hasn't been many players from our team that play in the NHL. Bouwmeester was the last player to have a long career. Sillinger was my favorite player when he played for the Tigers.
