23. Toronto Blue Jays​

Tucker Toman, 3B, Hammond HS (S.C.), LSU commit

The Jays seem like a floor for Neto and are also on one of my favorite players in the class in Toman. As with most teams in this range, their mix isn't set and includes lots of the players I'm projecting to go around their pick.

I like Tomann too. Would be nice to get 1 of Fabian and dare I say Rocker. With the extra picks we can take a overslept guy in the 2nd. Fabian likely doesn’t last to our 2nd pick but Rocket might during the compensation round.

He got some time with Dunedin last year as well. Surely a promotion has to be coming soon?

Gabby Martinez got pulled mid at bat a couple days ago and hasn't played since. Seems like he's injured. Hopefully it's not long term
 
im starting to lean towards rocker if he can be had for a a reasonable cost and is still available at our pick.

he's polished has electric stuff could possibly do a manoah like elevation through the farm

but the medicals would have to be immaculate with out the red flags

Well, pretty sure he makes his season debut tomorrow, so his entire draft stock will depend on a handful of starts between now and the draft.

Medicals clean or not, if surgery can repair it.....getting a top 2-3 talent at that position would be a steal. Timeline works very well too. Or can be used as a trade chip.

If he's there, I can't see why they wouldn't take him. Gotta keep him away from TB or the Yanks.....

Through 5 with 6 K's, 3 hits, 0 walks just the 1 unearned run. I assume that's it as he hasn't went past 5 all year. The 1 unearned run came in the 1st when the only baserunner was on an error so not even an unearned run where he put a few guys on an an error drove them in, just a single fielding erro leading to the run, no fault to Ricky whatsoever

It doesn't matter because he's likely just a warm body to offset the Mariners' organizational roster #s but I struggle to find anything intriguing about Keenan

23yo repeating High A with high K rate, good walk rate, not much power, and not a significantly interesting contact-based hitter profile. He's listed as a 3B/1B but his prospect profile on FG's 2021 Mariners' list (where he was ranked 29th as a 35+ FV guy) says he's quite bulky and probably profiles as more of a 1B/DH. He appears to have fallen off their 2022 FG rankings.

So he's a guy likely without a defensive position of value who doesn't have a bat of value and who's repeating the 3rd-highest minor league level as a 23 year old player who came out of college after a 3-year career there.

Basically he's a nothing burger.
