I know it’s not possible but it felt like some of the team were pulling a 1919 White Sox World Series.
It seemed that the puck was always sliding off their sticks and the passes and shots were just slightly ofc the mark.
Guess it was just one of those games.

Lots of panic in here I see... we were always going to be this team this year. We're performing better than I thought.

We need to move Kreider. We need to move Georgiev, it's clear Igor is ready to take over and Hank won't budge. But we should also move Buch if we can get a winger in return for someone and acquire another in the off-season. Draft with 2 first-rounders and a 2nd, unless we can sacrifice receiving a first for a better prospect.

HANK shouldn't have a choice. Eli has won two super bowls and he didn't have a choice. Hank has won nothing! Regular season wizards don't get a choice.

Overreactions aside, I guess everyone is going to ignore them playing with really good structure basically all night. They made two mistakes and CBJ made them pay for it twice.

That's the way it goes sometimes.

Yeah they played a solid game the 1st two periods, and then it opened up in the 3rd. Couldn’t finish to get that insurance goal, and two bad mistakes cost them in the back of their net.

Make a line change with a team coming in 3 on 2 then the seas parted lol

It was a good game.

It's more so that it was the usual ****ing suspects making the mistakes.

And more importantly, it's been a really good ~15 games lately. This is what you want to see during a rebuilding year- they're playing competitive and not getting their doors blown off like Detroit is every night. We got beat by a better team tonight and their goalie played a great game. Like I said, this shit happens sometimes.

edit: trading Strome means we have no centers. I have no idea where you ppl think a magic center is going to appear from. Zbad injured? Done. Smart.
Agree with all with the exception of trading Georgiev, unless it's for an absolute Godfather offer.

I love how us playing well is a major shock in the analytics community. Encouraging stuff.

lol @ people who think Trouba was excellent this game. If this is him at his best, that’s gonna be one ugly contract. We shouldn’t be too negative, we hung in there with the hottest team in the league and matched their game which is the polar opposite of our own.
Trouba was excellent. He ended a lot of rushes. But I know you will hang onto that one bad play at the blueline in the 3rd period. Whatever fits your narrative. Get your eyes checked.

Can’t watch the postgame but wanna hear what Quinn has to say about this disaster of a game
