the call was harsh, but that was still a really, REALLY dumb play

Emelin didn't go out of his way to hit him. He sorta glided toward him and **** happened. It was a nothing play. I get the 2 min for interference but... that's it.

Glad to hear that you attend Gatineau Olympiques' games.
BTW, don't be so hard on yourself.

Well, you asked him last year if he knew Claude Giroux. Any hockey fan would look at you dumbfounded at how you could ask who is Claude Giroux.

I may have personally asked to go **** yourself for still being stuck on mistakes 9 1/2 years ago.

It is, selon Marc Denis.

Yeah when is the last time you have ever seen Marc Denis not agree with any call being made on the ice ? It's the rarest thing.. it really has to be obvious that the ref ****ed up for Marc Denis to call it, and even then only from "le bout des lèvres". I wouldn't use that as proof of anything.

lol what a ******** 5 min game misconduct call, it should have been 2 mins for interference at max but Calvert sold it by staying on the ice and faking an injury.

Wildly inconsistent officiating is killing this sport - the league needs to address that part of the game, because it's substandard.

Well, it had been a good game by the Habs. In fact, they looked like they were about to dominate.

Then they **** up a face-off in their own zone and Emelin takes a 5 minute penalty.

Only good thing is the penalty is split by the intermission.

Every penalty can be called "dumb". From tripping to cross-checking to interference.

This was a pathetic call. He should be 2 mins and out of the box, not 5 and out of the game.

Its interference. Thats it. Five minutes for being winded.
