I wish players showed more personality
No, not like that!
No, not like that!
You're right, clearly tanking teams bring in 100+ point forwards (Gaudreau) and two top four defensemen (Provorov, Severson) in back to back off-season all the time! Are we really going to deny though that Columbus was clearly tanking during Laine's stay there?
Showing personality is one thing, showing that you're an asshole is another.I wish players showed more personality

Honestly is Patrik like on the spectrum or something? Or is he just a quiet Finn that might have way of talking after the fact that is off-putting?
Seems like a trend with him ending up not liked with team leadership. We’ll see what happens with Montreal if the team isn’t good enough to win.
Awful idea to bash your old team right before playing them, they roughed him up and now he is injured again.
They're both right.
For people like Laine nothing is ever their fault, it’s always others that are letting them down. They’re called narcissists.
CBJ's roster turnover since Werenski got drafted is epic. Only him and Jenner left.
I think there might be some issues with the kind of "winning" culture those two are trying to sell in that lockerroom since no player wants to stay for more than a season.
I have to think Laine is on to something here since Werenski gets all worked up about it.
Got to love a bit of banter.
This is one of those "you're not wrong but why are YOU saying this" things.
Laine is likely a self serving personality that rubs a lot of people the wrong way. But it's not like Werenski and him has no beef btw them. Wasn't it reported that him and Jones Nyquist etc tried to get Laine and Elvis traded? Only they know how dysfunctional that locker room was with all the losing.
I heard worse... move on people. meh.
That's one hell of a diagnosis considering you've never spoken with the man.For people like Laine nothing is ever their fault, it’s always others that are letting them down. They’re called narcissists.
