I can't understand the AV hate. He has NOTHING to work with. This roster is so flawed.

Agreed, when he was hired, I didn't think his philosophy fit with how this team plays. I think any of the bottom 6 guys making $1.5 mil or so can be dealt for players that are more energetic/gritty. Also, a big name needs to get moved to really shake things up.

What is the direction of this team? We are struggling mightily now, there's a lot of players up for contract extension at the end of the season and there is no scoring depth in HFD. Where too from here?

I would begin fielding offers for everyone except Hank, McD, Stepan, and Kreider. We should be looking for young forwards with top 6 potential and loading up on draft picks.

It baffles me that so few notice this. We've even had our top prospect step up this year. We should be better

Great hustle amd positioning all game by Kreider going for the rookie of the year
Great tape to tape passing
Great hockey sense by Hagelin all game long
Great change to dump in hockey
Great $8 + goaltending & and great try by Talbot on that unlucky 4th goal
Great defensive play
Great coaching & tactical approach (down 3-2 with 3 minutes left playing Boyle, Pyatt and Dorsett)
Great way to step up with Brassard, Cally and Staal out
Great intimidation by McIllraith
Great team

I already missed Dubi as it was, this game just made me miss him more.

Dubi took two careless penalties and did nothing else. Is it his face you like? Hank stayed too deep on the first goal when Calvert had few options. There should been nothing to shoot at. Instead he had about a foot of the net to shoot at. And hagelin and stralman are killing us. Not a good stretch for our Swedes.

Zucc is the best pure passer on this team now. Imagine how bad the record would be if he wasn't here.
