Missed the game cause of work but just caught it now. Daws was huge, Bratt/Jack nothing else needs to be said about them. Casey/Luke were rough defensively at times tonight but that goal Casey scored is why I prefer him over Nemec, his ability to get the puck on net and change shot angles/lanes is elite and needed 5v5

I think there was one more guy, there were so many I lost the labeling.

As a side note, Nico had a hell of a game last night too. It started slow, but as the game went on he was winning tons of puck battles and in a lot of the goals directly. SH breakaway, a post on the PP (which then soon lead to a goal by Noesen after he got the puck back to him)

A couple more 2-3 point games and he will be back at PPG or above.

Bratt / Jack were was good the last two games as well, playing faster than the competition - the 4 nations tourney upped their game, at least temporarily

Casey’s numbers with and without the Diabolical Duo is so funny.
  • In 5:46 with them the Corsi was 4-11 and they had a 16% xG.
  • In 7:40 without them he was up 10-4 Corsi with a 62% xG.
  • Their 4:18 without Casey down 2-8 Corsi with a 36% xG

Who are included in the Diabolical Duo?
 
Nice comeback win by the Devils. Congrats to Dawes for his shutout. It was also good to see secondary scoring. As for Casey, he’s small but adds scoring to our defense. I think Nemec is gone by the trade deadline. Will see what happens. I believe it’s important to make some trades without giving up the farm. Fitz’s job may be on line depending on what he does to improve the team going into the playoffs. One and out again may see Fitz get the door.

Dawes making those early stops was so important. Coming off the abysmal lack of finish the night before, we needed not to fall behind again early.

I could've sworn she mentioned something on Twitter about being a hair puller outer due to stress and that she has to get extensions to add volume. Or maybe I'm confusing her with some other crazy person. Also yes, long live Rachel.
