WOW, I missed this game, too much pain, I was sleeping; I will have surgery on Wednesday to help with the pain in my leg because of artery blockage.
Must have been a great game. 5 goals where did that offense come from Devils? Never mind, just keep it up as we go forward, we will need it.

Hamilton has been racking up points recently, probably getting close to his reality after a really tough luck stretch.
Doesn’t really answer for his horrendous defensive lapses this season (he’s never been great but it’s also never been this bad)
I think it makes him easier to move (idk that we will.)

His defense and overall play has been much better lately. Even if I think he's still overpaid I think the best course of action is to keep Dougie, trade Nemec and allow Casey to further develop until he's ready to take over for Hamilton down the line.
Stamkos being the invisible man and having the most positive impact for the preds seems like a rough combo

A rejuvenated Dougie, an improving Luke, and adding Casey to the lineup really helps our offensive generation from the back end. That’s 3 of 6 guys who can produce. Makes a big difference.
If Casey sits for Nemec again I'll be convinced we're trying to tank. There's no comparison between them.

The fourth line is horrifyingly bad. The third is bad as well. The time to address that is quickly approaching. We cannot be serious about doing ANYTHING in the playoff if we're trotting out Bastian, Dowling, or Lazar.
