GDT: Blackhawks vs Wings again ... but on their ice

Toews had one of his best games of the season....only some slippage at the very end ...missed en goal (how did he manage that?) And a bad clear that kept puck in and tgey finally score .Other than that he played welkltonoght. .Unfortunately 8 good (not yet Great) games out of 48 is hardly goodvemough for $10.5 ..When he went on that 5 game spurt we thought he was on his 6 weeks of excellence shtick. .but that was a false alarm teaser as ge produced nothing till tonoght with his assist ..But after the all-star break now he has a chance
to give us the 6 week of excellence hot streak and a big long wins streak fover a stretchof about 22-24 games ..chance to redeem his season..a bit ..But as I said ...we got fooled before and tonight's teaser of better play may be just the odd one -off ...We shall see.

I was calling for Toews n Dcat/Duclair a couple days ago.. they looked good.

AA should go back with Schmaltz and Kane.. Line was very dominant.

Saad and Hartman on 3rd might be a good 'checking' line with Kampf as C.

Debrincat - Toews - Duclair
Schmaltz - Anisimov - Kane
Saad - Kampf - Hartman
Sharp - Wingels - Hinostroza

Rotate LW with whoever is hot. Jurco, Bouma, etc.. Hayden

this was the as close as i seem to remember all forwards having their TOI being equal....

the d-men the rookie has over 26 mins while the others were again around being equal.... i like it.

Duke and DeBrincat, otherwise known as the Killer D's 2.0, were awesome tonight. Good for both of them.

4th line looked fantastic as well. Jurco quietly looks very good out there (faster and more confident than last season), Hino played like a man possessed, and Kampf's effort defensively is very much like a faster version of a young Kruger (before his hands started getting injured every few weeks from getting slashed).

I'd flip Hartman and Hino.

I'm very excited for Duclair to finally get a real chance -- fleeced AZ!

Q usually hates D that make mistakes that lead to Goals. I don't understand his love for Oesterle in this case. Last 2 games completly misplayed Goals against. Kempny would have been benched for 30 games.
And note, I have nothing against Oesterle or want him benched. Just another showing of Q and his crushes.

I know people want to move Hino up but that 4th line is really effective right now and they are playing 3rd line minutes. Personally I would bring Hayden up to play with 38/15 and call it a day.

Funny thing is that this game was not much different from the 4 - 0 loss to Wings. Puck luck was on Hawks' side this time around. Chicago was due to have some.

My point is that Hawks have been playing pretty well in the last few weeks. They still give up too many scoring chances and need whoever is between the pipes to be sharp, but that is to be expected with a youngish team. I like the roster. Time for a winning streak.

They have been playing well on the O end and by that I mean getting lots of zone time on the opposition end but not really much in terms of finish, way too much passing, no traffic in front of the net, and when they shoot it either misses the net, it’s blocked, it’s from a horrible angle or they hit the goalie right in he chest. They have been horrible on the D end though, yes there has not been much time in the D zone but when they are in it it’s pretty chaotic with everyone all over the place and the opposition scores easily, not sure who it was that said it best, the coach that teaches only D is not even teaching D anymore.

Have you considered the possibility that Q evaluates players and views plays differently than you, or is he just an idiot?
