GDT: Blackhawks vs. Ducks - Who Wins?

The fact Chicago is going to Game 6 with literally, NO 3rd pairing is miraculous in its own right. Saad and Bickell have completely fallen off too. Their roster has a ton of dead weight compared to last season's beast.
 
I hate that mainboards thread asking Hawks fans, "Which team is better, the 2014 Kings or 2015 Ducks?". You'd have to be an idiot to pick against a team with a Cup. The Ducks have nothing on the Kings as of right now.

I hope that Trevor Lewis and Justin Williams attend Game 7 at the Honda Center just to mess with the Anaheim Ducks.

I like to talk to fans of other teams, and the main boards are garbage, so I don't usually read them too often. It's nice to see what non-Ducks fans have to say about them, good or bad, as some of the hate speech can be entertaining.

Also, both the Kings and Ducks have crappy fanbases. Not that the Kings (and Ducks to a lesser extent) don't get a good amount of fan support for a non-traditional market, because they do, but a lot of the fans on both sides are total ****heads.

That's funny. It reminds me of a co-worker (he was in his 20s at the time) I had about 13+ years ago who rattled off the best players/participants of all time in each sport and they all just happened to be playing n their primes during his youth. What a golden age of sport that was! What makes it more funny is the conversation started because he was in my office and commented that Edgerrin James just had the best rookie + second year of any NFL running back ever and I about fell out of my chair. I said "Ever heard of Eric Dickerson? Look him up."

The main board did one better than that, if you can believe it. One poster from Chicago said that the two Cups in three seasons by the Kings was "a fluke." :laugh:

There were a couple Lightning fans that said that earlier this season too. It's pretty much the thinking of the entire main board: their team can't win two cups in 3 years; therefore, everyone sucks anyways except for their own team.

Aren't the mighty ducks from a movie? Do they have an NHL team named the Ducks now? :sarcasm:

I don't see any comparison between the two teams really. Sure both had young players but other than that not much.
