He’s production at about a .5PPG clip, which is better than last year.

Right. But that's not what I talked about and what I'm worried about. If you're the Blackhawks, you don't want him to turn into Erik Karlsson 2.0 who may score a lot but turns into a turnover machine when pressured and couldn't stay healthy or play against the puck to save his dear life. Boqvist has to toughen up and learn how to defend or he won't be of much use. Everybody knows he can score. That's not what I'm worried about.

It would serve as a message to the team and it's not like Subban hasn't earned more ice time.

I like Subban. But we've seen what happens when he plays two games in a row.

As well would keep Lankinen physically fresh for 2 more tough games against these guys. That's how I'd look at it as a coach. Too late now though. Kampf scores his first goal in more than 13 months to get Hawks back in it.

Down 3-1 in middle of second period you're still in it. If Preds got a 4th I would've had no problem pulling Lank, softie or no softie. But I think it's idiotic to pull a goalie when he's kept the team in the game.

That's fine. I didn't say anything else. I just said that at this point he's rather far away and that's he's been a disappointment this season. I even said that he's had bad luck healthwise and that playing a bigger role may have added to his struggles.

If Boqvist is peak Karlsson then everyone on this board should be absolutely ecstatic. If Boqvist is an ok defender but an offensive beast then he’s gucci.

From another guy who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to hockey? Yeah, me too.

lol, getting to be pretty lonely on that the Hawks are good, JC is a good coach, and Zadorov is a good player island

It's easy to cherry-pick plays but you guys keep doing it. I guess it makes you feel better when the Hawks lose and you have a veteran guy to blame who won't be here in the future. I find it rather pathetic.

Has he made a single good play all night? I can’t think of one.
