Yep, that was it for me. I get that his time here was frustrating with young kids and bad lineups, and he def took the team on his back... But one ounce more grace would have endeared him to the fans instead of leaving a bad aftertaste of a 'guy who hasn't won anything' thinks he's bigger than the logo.

Fans chanted MVP and helped you win popularity contest and the only thing you'll ever win. I don't need him back.

I mean, look at it from his perspective too, he went from bottom feeder to bottom feeder until he virtually willed the 17-18 team to make the playoffs only to get dog walked by an elite TB in the playoffs. I never blame players for wearing their hearts on their sleeve when it comes to shit like that, he didn't like it but he never said fans didn't deserve to do it. Just said it sucked to hear.

Btw, our fans have done that garbage ass booing this year as well, it would piss off any player when it's happening to a good team or in a situation that's not needed.

In the post game Keefe said it was his favorite goal of the season and not just of the game. That Bratt came off the bench determined to make a play and that the goal started on the bench.

If Bedard scores that goal on that crazy dangle early in the 3rd than this is a much different game. Still was a good win for the Devils. Players who have been playing pretty well latley that needed goals today got them (Hischier,Mercer,Timo) and Bratt/Jack stay hot. All in all it was a successful home stand where the team very well could of went 4-1-0 but going
3-1-1 Is still a very good result.

I don't think every coach addresses the team after wins, and I'm pretty there's a lot of coaches who don't address the team right after a loss and just wait until the next day.

They did show Lindy do it a few times though. He may have done it every game and they just didn't show it or even bother taping it. I think now it's catching on with the media team and becoming a thing with Keefe where they probably plan to post it after every win.

Well they definitely had a few, but not after every win. Seems like now they are doing it after every win (to be fair to Lindy), but that substitute teachers vibe is spot on.

I wanted Lindy gone all of last year but I'll forever be thankful for that man helping Jack/Bratt/Nico become the players they are right now+ 2022/2023. He's invited to the Devils cup parade once this core wins one lol
