POJ is 3rd in tenure among D in the lineup tonight. We signed him in July. We have 4 guys playing on D who weren’t with us last year, including 1 who wasn’t a Blue last night.

Better than most of The Blues' D-men. He's going to help solidify The Blues' defence, but I didn't like giving up a 2nd Round choice in 2027, during the early part of The Blues next competitive window, just to give them a "chance" to win a Wild Card spot this season, and stay out of The Draft Lottery. Maybe Leddy had a setback in his injury that spurred on that trade?

It should help Broberg and Suter keep their legs fresh and not overplay them. So it should achieve it's goal.
