We aren't skilled enough to play a slower tempo system. MT's more counter-attack and playing with pace system was better suited for our offense. If we could somehow merge CJ's defensive system with MT's offensive system, we'd be a dangerous team.

Who else but Shaw? He can't help himself. Stick got in the way and the Hawks player smartly tripped himself over it in pursuit of the puck and hit the ice. Why can't our players learn how to draw penalties like that? Probably told to not dive anymore by Therrien and that's resulted in our weak ass ability to get PPs.
