Won at Pittsburgh and Toronto in their home openers, won at the defending champs, won at home against last years cup finalist, and won at a team that won 2 cups and in the finals a third time just recently. I thought the Hawks might have 1 or 2 flukey wins in their first 12, i never could have imagined this.

I don’t know what’s more incredible, that the Hawks have won 5 games in this schedule or that there are still some in here who do nothing but complain about this team.

They might have value at the TDL, but I would much rather keep both of them around for another year or two through this rebuild. They bring leadership, toughness and now points. They finished last season with 25 and 26 pts. Even if they regress drastically back to fourth line players, they will be worth it.

..as for individual 3rd star notcsure...probably Korchinski ...butI thought Kaiser had a good game ...maybe hus best of the season both in his physical battle and skating pucks out.

My biggest complaint was the end of the game in the tine TB pulled the goalie...they got a goal fron that ...but very disappointed Hawks dod not interceptvtge puck and getcan en goal...Itceas a lengthy tomevifvempty netcand surely Hawks should have gotc1 or 2 chances at the open net...but not even close to such a chance..
