So then the question is -- is Allen good enough to backup? Or is he straight-up playing?
If there was any question whether Allen could play, you'd want to elevate Barkley, knowing you could make him inactive if Allen was OK to play. I cannot picture a scenario where they don't think Allen could start, but would be fully certain he could back up.

Got the (take it with a grain of salt) inside intel boys. Went to a liquor store about an hour ago in OP to grab some wine, cashier lady says that we just missed Josh Allen’s dad by about 2 minutes. She asked him for his name to see if he had a savings card and said Allen, guy said he was Josh’s dad and he’s playing. Hope he wasn’t trolling, but yeah not a bad thing to hear at least!

Tre’s tracking to be out a full calendar year at this point.
And this general bit of knowledge does what for us, exactly?

I know the phrasing is a little rough, but I feel like people need to remember that we have no control over Tre's injury, or his recovery, whatsoever. No matter how much we care, no matter what timeline the Bills' coaching staff fed us, no matter what happened to the secondary outside of Tre, it was always going to take as long as required for Tre to recover. Any energy expended beyond cheering for the guy the moment he comes out of the tunnel again is a complete waste.

Wonder why they elevated Duke? Plan to run it a ton?
Obviously, they're planning on starting him at QB.

Going with the Tennessee offense approach, bold.

I think it's clear they want Tre's conditioning to be in midseason form for a midseason game. They don't want to put him out prematurely and have him get a hamstring or something that just lingers the rest of the season.

This didn't age well, that's why twitter is a cesspool.

I think Duke will likely be a goal line/short yardage back if active/needed today. Curious to see who they inactivate if so. Chris Brown thinks it is for pass protection.

They may feel Rhodes size matches up on Jefferson and Hockenson well

No matter who starts at qb expect lots of short, play action, controlled passes, screen game to all backs/te. And if Josh starts, no running from him.

It's snowing out right now!

Current weather radar looks like snow/rain drizzle mix will end right about game time and start back up by the end of the game. Of course you never know in O.P.

Exactly. Everybody is an expert on Twitter when it comes to pro sports or politics.

Whoa, he was scary at safety in the preseason against backups and cut guys so hopefully he has made significant progress.

Josh Allen will start his 63rd consecutive game today for the Buffalo Bills, 2nd only to Joe Ferguson in Bill's history and only behind Brady and Carr currently in the NFL.
