Uh, that doesn't make Tom Barrasso a jerk.
HFboards to Tom Barasso

Funny story, my dad got me an autographed picture of Barrasso, because he saw his dad for a neurological consult. When he talked about that, he'd always joke, "I don't know why he did that. I diagnosed his dad with a fatal brain tumor." Maybe he's just a sick bastard.

Got a signed picture from him through my step dad’s friend that was his Porsche mechanic.

I think it’s the only autograph of note I’ve really ever gotten from a hockey player unless Byron Dafoe impresses anyone.

I've read lot of comments on the Wild board about Suter being a jerk.

That's all I know.

It wasn't a fabrication but people make it sound like Modano was about to step on the ice for his 1,500th game when Babcock scratched him. What happened was Modano was out for a significant part of the season with injury, and was made a healthy scratch one game which mean there weren't enough remaining games left in the season for him to reach 1,500.

On the list of Babcock's transgressions this is pretty low for me. Sure 1,500 is a nice round number but isn't a classic milestone like 1,000 games. And frankly Modano was playing awful. Babcock's treatment of Franzen was much much worse.

My only comment about Tommy B is that the NHL hall of fame made him wait 20 years after he retired to get inducted, while inferior goalies got in and it sound like he only got in due to lobbying form Mario

But hey he can go down as the biggest loser ever with 4 SCF losses.

Depends how you look at it... Two Olympic golds, a Stanley cup, World Championship gold, World Junior gold, a Memorial cup and a World Cup gold. Plus the Rocket and Hart. Sounds like winning to me.
