Better return in overall value? Meier, because Meier is a better player.

Better return in regards to how much they got back for the quality they gave up? Definitely Jeannot.

How do I know this? Because we wouldn’t ever be comparing these two players if you didn’t feel the same way about the Jeannot trade.

but Meier returned the quality prospects and 1st rounder.

in a vacuum it's not really that close, but the Jeannot return was great too
