If the Jets fall off you could probably get Stastny for a 2 nd and a 4 th rounder!

why the extra 4 th….. just because! “ we live in a different world than we did jyst a moment ago” Kevin Costner Draft day……

also the extra 4 th would replace their already traded 4 th round for the 2022 draft

Stats from the Jets as we close in on the TDL likely gets 2nd rd pick plus.

I haven’t watched Stastny much the past few years. Strengths and weaknesses? How’s the skating these days?

Strome has been better the last 5 games or so. More involved, better at the dot. I would have said yes before that but now I want to see what’s going to happen.

Stastny does seem like a pretty good target, even if he's slow.

One of the tricks here will be upgrading on Gaudreau offensively without downgrading defensively. Not that he's an ace defensive center or anything but Evason clearly has faith him and it's probably why he sticks on that line like he does.

So a veteran center that can win faceoffs, take care of things in his own end and be an effective third-wheel in the offensive zone is likely what they'd be looking for. Boldy and Fiala can handle the acrobatics.

Then Staz is likely your guy, because that is a pretty good description of him.

Well, you're already familiar with Larsson.

From Arizona, Boyd could also be had for maybe just a 3rd.
