Not a playstyle compare but I think he projects to fill the void left by Perry as the teams Franchise Winger. Perry was skinny wire like when he was drafted except Perry was very slow on his skates while Sennecke is really fast. Carlsson to Sennecke the new Getzlaf to Perry but with a lot less penalty minutes and they got a great skating ability.

I don't think they are at all comparable. If anything Sennecke has more mobility but Perry had alot of extra stuff to compensate for what he didn't have

I like how he’s always moving forward with the puck. We need more guys like that. I think he’s gonna drive play, will not be a purely complimentary player.

Carlsson had 4 more points and 4 more hits as an 18 year old than Perry did as a 20 year old. In 1 fewer game.

Let’s let him get some meat on his frame before we make final decisions.
Carlsson would be likened to Getzlaf as they’re big centers senneke would be Perry

How do you check jr stats?

The comparison @Ducks DVM was using were NHL stats. I use hockey-reference.com to make it easier to compare game sets b/c of their highlight functions do all the calculations for ya. Hockey-reference captures a player's NHL production only.

For junior stats overview, you can use elite prospects (EP), e.g. Corey Perry. Here is Perry's page, where you can look at his individual game stats. For his NHL hockey-reference page and game log (find the tab to get there), here is Corey's page.

Carlsson's "junior"-equivalent stats are on his EP page as "J20". EP Page: Carlsson.

Sennecke's individual game stats: Sennecke.

Everytime we try and make comparisons for prospects to old fan favorites, we always end up disappointed. See Fowler, Cam.

Your worried about penalty minutes? The team needs to fill the aggression missing on the top 6 that Getzlaf and Perry brought.

Hits are not tracked at the juniors level as far as I saw though.
