Literally all PFF rankings are, are eye tests.
Right and teams do their own rankings this way. At least I'd hope all by this point.

Even in Lovies days a decade ago back there was time Urlacher had said how he graded in some games. And how even with the lead Arizona in 06 had, he only had 1 play they graded bad with I think a Boldin td, but every other play he was great. A pff grade of that game probably would of been dominant too.

I'm sure some teams doing it do it poorly or let bias take into account too. But it's nothing different other than pff having their -2-2 system.

But also I remember Major Wright graded high in pff that year he and conte played 15 yards back most snaps. It seems to my view that pff grades safeties playing it safe well. I would think he racks up a lot of points on plays he just stayed home in his zone. But that pairs well with a guy who can take risks well like Jackson does

Safety is such a "feel" / instinctive position, it's tough to grade. Guys like Pomamalu, Thomas, Matthieu, and Jackson are instinctive players. That's what makes them great.

LOL! Officials: Ex-NFL coach McCarthy berated HS refs

Officials from Pulaski School District in Wisconsin filed a formal complaint against former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy on Wednesday, a day after he was involved in an incident with referees following his stepson's high school basketball game. The complaint was submitted to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association.

The incident occurred after Pulaski High School scored a one-point victory over Notre Dame Academy, for which McCarthy's stepson plays. Video obtained through an open records request by Fox 11 in Green Bay appeared to show McCarthy follow referees as they made their way out of the gym after the game. District officials confirmed that the man in the video was McCarthy and said he directed "unsportsmanlike language" at the referees.

"This parent chose to follow the officials and berate them, which is clearly unacceptable," Janel Batten, Pulaski's athletic director, told Fox 11. "Some things were said, some language was used that we don't want in our gym, unsportsmanlike language." Notre Dame Academy athletic director Steph Mathu told Fox 11 that the school is looking into the incident. McCarthy, 55, has said he plans to coach again in the NFL but will sit out the 2019 season. He went 135-85-2 in 12-plus years with the Packers but was fired with four games left in the 2018 season.

Hire Cutler and profit.
Cutler would be great too. However, Joe Thomas is far funnier. Actually, Cutler and Joe would be great ... but ESPN is not getting rid of Booger. He's not great, but he's not bad either.

If the new XFL gets off the ground, theyll take him. Until he implodes, anyway.
Isnt their new brand supposedly antithesis of their past one and something about not allowing players with crimes or transgressions? Not sure what that other aafl thing is doing that.

I suspect AAF will make that point moot, anyways. Can we please skip the mandatory end of Manziel football career and moved right into "Meet the Manziels" reality show that he is destined to have?

Manziel’s wife got caught cheating in a half marathon (cut the course and skipped a lap) and then she tried to defend it and called the people who caught her sad and pathetic and other names before deleting the posts.

Apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree in that relationship, I see.

Unbelievable. Why would anybody cheat in a half marathon? 99% of the runners are about just establishing a personal best. Furthermore, it's almost impossible to cheat with the chips runners have to wear.

It's incredibly easy to cheat most races if you plan it out, especially ones with multiple loops. Check out this guys website, it's hilarious.

I’m as anti-NFL Combine as it gets but Montez Sweat, a 6-6 260 pound defensive lineman from Miss. State, just ran a 4.41 40. I don’t even.

I'm actually offended people cheat. It's always been about finishing and maybe setting a personal best. I've matched pace with several strangers to push ourselves to finish strong. Nothing needed to be said. It was just an acknowledgement of support among runners.

The people that are middle to the back of pack who still feel the need to cheat for when they post about their time on Facebook have mental problems. It’s incredible how often it happens.

I got to a lot of races and run into the same people at a lot of them and it’s not difficult at all to peg a cheater.

Another safety on the market.

That's why Adrian Amos won't be a huge loss. If the Bears offer 3 years at $17mn ... $11mn guaranteed, he should jump on it.

Bryce Callahan, slot corners, are far more valued. Bryce's issue is injuries. That should bring down his asking price.
