Read up on that guy during the draft process. He hasn't been a full time tackle for very long, but apparently has super high upside.

That D-line is looking rough right now though.

Feels like that pick could have been made after a trade down, assuming there was one available

Bears used a top 30 visit on Kiran so they clearly saw something they liked about him and his potential. Mildly suprised they didn't go with the edge Isaac.

I’m hoping he was at the senior bowl or something similar. Ivy League football isn’t exactly SEC football.

Kind of a boring night. Happy to see a local kid my kids played youth football with go (Nubin from St Charles North)

Here's a profile Brugler did on Amegadjie a little while back. Seems like a smart and thoughtful kid. Grew up in Hinsdale.

Still don't love leaving the d-line unaddressed when there were some strong options on the board, but at least there is some upside with this pick

Who were the strong options? Jonah Ellis?

At this point, I think all signs point towards the 2025 draft being defensive line focused. Unless they take a center tomorrow, I’d imagine they’ll also be looking at the interior OL as well, given at least one of Jenkins and Davis will not be here next year.

If the Bears can somehow land Austin Booker today, I would deem this an incredible draft for them. Unlikely, but it would be nice to address that pass rusher.
