For your viewing pleasure, Brett Kollman of Bootleg Football on YouTube did a live stream of the game titled 'Taking shots of Malört every time the Bears score tonight'

And so he did. Lots of NSFW language in there, understandably.

The only thing that matters this season is to figure out if Justin Fields is the answer. There's not a true Bears fan who doesn't want the kid to succeed. He's an incredibly hard worker. He still has a long way to go, but I'm rooting for him. Keep pushing Justin.
Absolutely. I am higher on Fields than I am Caleb Williams. It behooves the Bears that Justin Fields becomes *thatguy* at QB because then the Bears can take those two 1st's and address other, more pressing needs.

It would be a mistake to draft a QB. Yes, this is my hot take. Fields is going to be a great QB in this league. What he has done in the last two seasons is actually pretty remarkable, given the circumstances. We will see how the rest of the season goes, but I think he's the real deal.

two awful defenses is more the reason.
That DOES NOT MATTER when you are trying to build some momentum (sorry about the Eberflus impersonation right there). You can only play who is on your schedule and it's not the Bears fault those teams defenses suck. IDC if they are "awful defenses", I'm taking any positives from the offense, I can get. We all seen what a confident Justin Fields can do against good defenses.

Right now my plan would be to keep Justin Fields and then draft Fashanu and Verse. I know passing on Harrison is painful but the Bears NEED to continue to addressing the lines should take priority. Fashanu/Wright as your bookend tackles is very intruing.

The lines win Super Bowls. I'm with you on this. He's absolutely good enough. Build around him, and they can win. It's amazing seeing him dominate with a true #1 receiver. Imagine the Bears with even an average o-line...

If the Bears were to pass on Harrison Poles should be fired before he makes the pick.

Taking need over talent is Stan Bowman-esque.

How much of a sure thing is Fashanu? Definitely wouldn't want to end up with the bears version of Evan Neal over in new york.

The hope is Justin keeps trending up to the point that the Bears are forced to pick up his 5th year option. As DJ Moore proved last night, Justin needs another good receiver. Harrison might be the best receiver coming out since Jefferson and Chase. He's that level. I'd roll the dice with Mooney in UFA and transition tag Johnson like we did to Fuller.

With the other first round pick, we need to pick another edge rusher.

Justin is determined to prove his a pocket passer. He's definitely improving but still has a ways to go. However, if Justin ever figures it out from thr pocket, his physical gifts and work ethic put him automatically in the top 10 for QBs.

My impression is that he would have been the first picked tackle in the draft if he had declared last season. He's really good. Then again, Evan Neal was at times predicted to go #1 overall in 2022 (admittedly a MUCH weaker draft than 2024).

But he's not the level of prospect that MHJ is.

Ideally, we keep fields, and get one of the top two pics so we could use it as trade bait, like last year. This team still needs so much.

I can't swing my opinion on Justin in just two weeks. He needs to continue to have this sort of success the rest of the season. Every Bears fan should want him to succeed and any true fans do. BUT.

If we have the first overall pick again, its going to be really tough to pass on a talent like Caleb Williams, at least in my opinion.
