I do. There is a reason why Ryan Poles has been in contact with the Chiefs about Jones. Regardless of the contract, I have near 100% faith that Flus can get the most out of Jones during a (possibly) stint in Chicago.

But it is funny that there has been some smoke about the Bears being in on both Chris Jones and Jonathan Taylor. It makes me wonder if Poles is planning on making a significant addition to the roster before the season starts.
Still don’t think anything happens

Bears to cut PJ Walker and Alex leatherwood
Surprise, not surprise about Leatherwood. Between Leatherwoods cut and Jenkins injury, I feel like there is a OL move coming.

I'm an pleased that the Beas went with the upside play of Bagent instead of keeping the veteran Walker. Walker has sucked all training camp and thus definitely earned his released.

Leatherwood was worth a waiver claim his guaranteed money won’t impact anything here.
The man is just not a nfl starter. Walker was the right move. Just like the bears moved on quickly and not keep him cause they gave a couple of million.

Feeney sounds like a good get. Former 3rd round pick, started a bunch of games and has experience at G and C. Even if he's just a back-up with the Bears, he sounds like an upgrade. The 6th rounder would have been the Bears 8th pick in 2024. So that's not a high price. Just have to hope he can stay healthy and actually be available when called upon.

He’s a solid pro. Not a world beater but good experienced cheap depth.
