This guy is really starting to irk me. Another reason why hockey is #1 with me, effin' pansies.

I'm a Steelers fan and I agree 100%. Claypool is incredibly irksome. He'll play like AJ Brown one game of the year and then catch one or two passes for 9 yards for games on end. Drops a tonne of balls too.

Devon Witherspoon apparently being the only drafted player to not yet sign a contract and is thereby holding out is kind of shocking. Is he being crazy with demands or are the Seahawks low-balling a top five pick?

Aren’t those NFL rookie deals determined upfront per the cba?

Honestly any good DE that is worth signing is all ready locked up, because that's a premium position like QB & LT. Really good and certainly great players in those positions never reach free agency.

Any Ends leftover are still out because they're average at best and Poles isn't going to sign someone just to sign them. Hate to say it but The Bears may have to roll with what they got and hope the Tackles they drafted can surprise everyone? For what it's worth Eberflus never had elite pass rushers coaching with The Colts but was still able to put good defenses on the field so maybe that magic will come out now...at least I hope?
Clowney is far better than any Bears DES. Sounds like he is asking for too much money and terms and that is likely why he is still available He is not a top tier player by any meansbut would be an improvement

Good signing. Means the end of the feel-good Travis Bell story, unless he goes to practice squad or gets picked up by another team

Ngakoue will make enough inconsequential plays that he ends up with decent numbers, but I don't remember him making any plays at a big moment in games. Granted, the Colts didn't have many big moments while he was with them. They have been consistently desperate to find anyone who could generate pressure on the QB so to let him walk when they haven't had much turnover with their defensive coaches AND they have the cap space to keep him...

I hope we can extend Jaylon Johnson for $14-$15mn per before the regular season starts. It's a premium position and he's still only 24.

Then we can choose between Claypool or Mooney at the end of the season. I suspect Poles is hoping Claypool makes the jump this year. The Bears want him to be our X Receiver (split end).
