Whatd fields do against Clemson?
Clemson D is not comparable to that Georgia team.

Please report back to the thread how many Clemson defenders were taken in the first two rounds of the NFL draft after that season. Or the next season's draft for that matter.

Young can bulk up a bit to Brees territory. Not exactly hard to do

Tua, Kyler, Russell Wilson in the last 2-3 years have had some great seasons.

Then obviously Brees is the HOF example.

I think Young is an elite prospect. Not a generational one due to the height. And being elite doesn't mean he's a sure thing of course.

But his tape vs Georgia last year is meaningful. He basically torched a pseudo NFL defense.
Being elite doesn’t mean he’s a sure thing? LOL

For those wondering, that Clemson D had no one drafted in the first two rounds of the draft. They finally had a CB(Andrew Booth) selected in the 2nd round of the next draft.

Georgia D had 5 first rounders (including Travon Walker) and the Butkus Winner who went in round 3 (Nakobe Dean). They'll likely have three more 1st rounders this year including Jalen Carter.

So you’re saying the Clemson D was elite?

I didn’t realize Lawrence was so highly touted. I guess I just don’t see it and don’t follow college too much. This has nothing to do with this game fwiw.

He’s busting hardcore, but he was absolutely touted as a generational QB prospect.

I wasn't following things closely that year but I didn't ever see that. I mainly saw people ripping him for his #1 spot because being soo big causes him to have such a big windup throwing motion people were worried he'd ever be able to get it quick enough

fwiw - Fields vs Lawrence goes back to their high school days, #1 and #1a prospects

Bills starting off like the team to beat.

Imagine losing $1.4M because you tried to win $11,200

My stance that gambling is inherently degenerate stands. Dude was either filthy rich and looking for a quick buck that he didn't remotely need, or he bet his entire life savings (or a significant chunk of his wealth) for what still would've been a rounding error to his overall wealth and will be hurting hardcore as a result.

Just dumb greed.
