Problem with that is, winning only hurts your chances at getting a replacement for Fields.... So it doesn't really compute.
Theyre going to do plenty of losing, just dont want to also get consistently embarrassed while doing it.

They havent really been embarrassed yet. Not like when the mel tucker defense under trestman gave up 50 2 weeks in a row.
Their offense is absolutely an embarrassment. If what you are saying is true, they're accomplishing the opposite, because their approach is being questioned by a ton of people.

That might have been the worst game Ive ever seen an oline play. Looked like 5 turnstyles out there.

It's amazing to me that after all these years the Bears still don't understand that you build an offense from the offensive line out.

They're trying. It's young. They've had injuries.

The Bears O line was like a top-rated unit league-wide in week 1. It's going to be inconsistent, IMO.

I love the Manningcast but it would be way better if they cut of nearly all of the guests.

Only exception is a former player who is amped to watch the game with them and talk about it.

All the "interviews" are just not good viewing.

The Giants blitzed alot and apparently many of those blitzes were packages that the Bears hadn't expected. When NY criss crossed the LBs and both came up the middle it really messed up the O-line protection scheme. And Fields has got to get rid of the ball quicker. He's the most pressured QB because he holds on to the ball too long; actually longer than any other QB. The O-line has been doing great opening running holes for the backs. Bears are 4th in the NFL in yds/att.

Taking all the dead cap this year was a design to give up on this year before it started but free up funds for future years.
They were not expected to win. Many predictions ranged from 2 to 6 wins.
They are keeping games close. It appears even without a 1st rd pick they managed to find a future LT an D end and a DB that will not just be players but good long term players at key spots.
The week 1 win gave some of you false hope and raised the expectations.
I’ll be interested in seeing Fields play with both time and at least one receiver who creates separation. Currently defenses can tighten the zone a lot because
A) Fields doesn’t have the time to go deep.
B) they lack a deep threat wide out.

Also, I’m not sure if here or FB but someone posted still photos and said Fields was not throwing to open receivers.
In both examples the receiver was fronted (5 yds away) with another DB behind also 5 yards away. Being fronted requires he put some height on the pass. The trailer DB is likely licking his chops hoping he tries.
When QB’s are under pressure the receiver needs to create an out. That (usually) is by coming back and toward the sideline.
Show me video of that happening.

The best and most consistent OL the Bears had was the 3-4 years of

Tait - LT
Brown - LG
Kreutz - C
Garza - RG
Miller - RT

Line was good at protecting QB and run blocking

Of course, we wasted those f***ing years with Grossman and Orton at QB

Were you going to provide any frame of reference for this? Or just making another silly blanket statement?
I was listening to Boomer Esiason on the Score and he was already talking about Bryce Young and CJ Stroud.

Every time I see a Fields clip from someone outside of Chicago it's either he has no chance or he sucks.

Here's more evidence:

Lmao. That's your evidence? That, if the Bears draft top 5, they're taking the stud QB?

Christ.
