youre right it was the 17th they announced he would be interviewing. That said it was reported they reached out to their top candidates and asked them who they liked as head coaches.

Really this only makes sense. If you're interviewing for a leadership role, you darn well better have some sort of plan in mind before the interview. Wannestedt even said that most, if not all, GM candidates have specific coaches in mind prior to taking the job.

Thats not true. He was a huge fan of the gruden hire in LV iirc. And if the bears hired cutler as qb coach or OC hed probably love it.
