Not loving this...

He has bounced around league alot this past decade

Oakland Raiders Quality Control Coach (2007-2008)
Oakland Raiders WR coach (2009-2011)
New York Jets WR coach (2012-2014)
Buffalo Bills WR coach (2015-2016)
Indianapolis WR coach (2017)
Dallas Cowboys WR coach (2018-2019)
Seattle Seahawks senior offensive assistant (2020)
Jacksonville Jaguars WR coach (2021)

What exactly has he done to potentially warrant a job promotion and being put in charge of developing Justin Fields?

Bears win Mack trade by default after the incompetent picks made by the Raiders organization.

- Josh Jacobs was drafted with one of the first-round picks from Bears and he has been a great pick

- Jonathan Abram who was taken a few spots behind him has turned into good young starting safety. Him getting injured before playoffs was big loss for Raiders D

- Henry Ruggs threw away his life/career which no one could have foreseen but before that he was looking every bit a legit #1 WR this year and was far from an "incompetent pick"

Anyone that claims Jacobs and Abram are bad picks clearly doesn't know what he is talking about

Also WR Bryan Edwards taken with the 3rd rounder the Bears sent Raiders in that trade is looking solid and would have been the 2nd best WR on Bears this year

Josh jacobs is pretty average. 4.2 yards a carry but gets a ton of usage. He’s basically David Montgomery who is good, but you can find running backs like that all over the draft

If Rodgers moves on, the Vikes have probably a better chance to inherit the division than the Bears or Lions. I don't think it's a particularly bad landing spot for him.

Expecting Chicago to be enraged if it happens, though.

Bears expected to hire colts cornerback coach James Rowe to the same spot.

Rod Marinelli in the mix for d-line coach.

Bears going after Bill Callahan from the browns as o-line coach.

Pep Hamilton being mentioned as qb coach/pass game coordinator.
