no reward for going into OT, I'd rather just go for it there too and put the game on the line.
This isnt hockey where you get a loser point

you have Justin Tucker

go into OT. Win the toss and potentially win. Lose the toss, get a stop and move the ball and set up Tucker.

This loss can have significant playoff seeing implications.

Steelers were hot in the 4th quarter on offense or the D was just slacking not sure you can just trust that D to "get a stop"

Odds are better to let your star QB behind thr line to get 1 play. It's like, I don't get how people are still against taking the odds better situation of going for 4th and shorts. Your odds are better of 1 4th and 2 vs a whole series of situations of OT.

Watching Romo on the Steelers/Ravens game. I love when he mocks the QB's pre-snap jargon and tells the viewer where the play is going or what the left tackle is going to do and the QB's read all before the ball is snapped. It shows how terrible most of the analysts for any sport are in comparison.

Romo was clearly told by producers to tone that down. On his early broadcasts, he we call out every play before the snap. It was uncanny and really impressive.

Doesn't even matter. Until these morons aren't running the team anymore, we will get more of the same. If Ryan Pace isn't also gone, its more of the same. This roster f***ing sucks. The offensive line is a joke, the secondary is a bigger joke. They pay two guys like 16 million to be backup QBs. Skill position group gets the least amount of seperation IN THE LEAGUE

And they dumped their left tackle and #1 cb(im fairness fuller has had a rough year and leno isnt very good) to keep graham and he plays 10-15 snaps a game. Just super puzzling when they have like 6 tes on the roster and spent a 2nd on kmet 2 years ago.

Sucks when you see a team draft a guy like Ja'Marr Chase that high and get a guy with that much talent. Kevin White not working out is so unlucky. So Bears.

Wouldnt really classify it as unlucky. Just the first of many examples of pace's inability to evaluate players.

I mean, he was projected to go that high, had so many injuries, I would call it unlucky.

There were a lot of questions about him. Most notably his route running. Apparently, he ran like 2-3 routes of the route tree in college.

I might be wrong, but didnt he jump up because of his combine? I remember not being thrilled on using a top10 pick from a receiver outta wvu.

Kevin White was a consensus top 10 pick with most having him in the top 5. I remember Daniel Jeremiah loved him - he used to do a segment about "blue dot" prospects where evaluators would put a blue dot next to someone they'd bet their life wouldn't bust. He had Kevin White as a blue dot guy that year.

The injuries really derailed his career, but it's always possible he'd never develop into a good player.

He had 1400 yards as a senior at West Virginia. His 4.35 definitely helped at the combine but he was a consensus top 10 pick. A lot of people thought he'd be better than Amari Cooper

He was not consensus top 10 pick until after combine

He was your huge year senior + typical combine warrior riser. At combine he measured taller then teams expected and that ran the fast 40 which caused stir since it was faster then expected and was one of the fastest times. After that people started talking about how he was "Potential Julio Jones 2.0" and away the hype went

There were legit concerns about his ability to run routes and limited play (He only played in his Jr and Sr years) but people were obsessed with the package "Size , Speed and hands" that teams obsess about today so his draft stock skyrocketed and Bears jumped on it

I was fine with taking risk and grabbing him. Excited even so I wont bash Pace on this selection much

But the truth was there were reasons to be concerned at time and even though Injuries derailed his career he also still never learned to run routes well and his much advertised "Hands" actually sucked
