OT: Bears & NFL Talk 103

Johnson said OC will be studying the film intently early in the week and give a bit of skeleton summation, to ease Johnson's workload.

I will because.............................PIZZA

LOL
I guess if my gf or I feel like cooking and having a few people over I’ll watch it, but I’m not going to a party or a bar to be around a bunch of assholes for this shitty product.

I don’t really enjoy how the refs can take over the game so much at critical moments with highly questionable calls in this “sport”.

I also find superbowls in general far too long and boring.

At least I’m not dumb enough to bet more than $10 on it.

Looking forward to the kick of destiny and that’s it.

My interest in this Super Bowl will only last as long as Philly has a chance to win. Once it becomes apparent KC is the much better team, channel surfing will begin. Don't want to listen to 2+hrs of fawning over Mahomes, Reid, Kelce, etc

Unrelated, but I'd like people to be open and honest when they talk about the Bears passing on Jalen Carter to draft Darnell Wright. Don't keep it coy and say you're pissed that the Bears passed on an All-Pro D-lineman. Say that you wanted to ignore Carter's red flags which included multiple speeding/racing incidents, one of which cost the life of one of his teammates and a Georgia staffer. His arrest warrant for that incident went out like an hour before his press conference at the Combine. You haven't forgotten this.

Be loud and proud about how your biggest issue with the Henry Ruggs is that he's not able to produce on the field, and that his killing that woman isn't actually something that you're that upset about.

Just own it. That's all I ask.

Speaking of Carter... and him kind of being a piece of shit.

Did anyone ever look to see if he poked the offensive lineman in the eyes on purpose? Live it kind of looked like it might've, and I thought the broadcast even mentioned it. Seems like the kind of guy who would try and do something scummy like that.

I actually think Philly is the better team but the Chiefs have the power of the NFL and Taylor Swift behind them, so it will be difficult for Philly to win.

100% agree. I think there should be an investigation into the NFL for conspiracy and betting on games should be prohibited from sportsbooks until they stop acting like the WWE or whatever they call themselves now.

I really hope some team in the top 10 pulls an Anthony Richardson with Milroe this year. Falls in love in the pre-draft process and think they just have to teach him how to play QB.

Wouldn't be surprised at all. Dominant athlete, but he was crying about an O-lineman pointing out his body count after he said he would kill his family last season. Not the smartest or most mature individual.

I’m fine passing on Carter, my issue is that Wright is meh.

Grey Zabel might be doing better so far at the Senior Bowl than Jackson Powers-Johnson did last year. I might pencil him in at 39 or 41. G/C versatility (like, actually, not as with Lucas Patrick or Bates where he's equally bad at both), and just straight up beating whomever he's up against.

And this is his first time playing G or C. He was a tackle all through college.

Huh. Somehow I missed this while looking at the measurements earlier. Willie Lampkin, IOL out of UNC, is just over 5'10. 270lbs.

Would be super fun if he could make it, but I can't imagine that working out. Imagine him up against Vita Vea or Dexter Lawrence.
