I think Flores will be a very good head coach. I also don't for a minute believe that he won't be the type of defensive minded head coach who straight up hates the players on offense.

Rumors I'm hearing on Bears head coach opening via team sources: - Lions OC Ben Johnson wants the job, but Ryan Poles has reservations. There is a lot of belief that Johnson would push Poles out. - Johnson is said to want Commanders assistent GM Lance Newmark as the GM. Newmark was with Johnson in Detroit. - Poles has a history with Vikings DC Brian Flores, and Flores is a top candidate for Poles.{/QUOTE}
If this is true, and the Bears chose Poles over Johnson, then I give up.

Maybe but it would not surprise me if they actually do bring him back for another round. I mean they did the same thing with Bill Polian a couple of years ago.

Accorsi was the consultant on the Pace/Fox hires, Polian was the consultant on the Poles/Eberflus for reference iirc

Packers are -10. Are they expecting to play starters all game? I wouldn't think so since the only thing that can really change is them flip-flopping with the Commies from a seeding perspective.

I agree with the Bears that they should pick a HC that embodies the city of Chicago.

The greatest achievement of the city of Chicago was taking a city that was burnt down to the ground and having people come in and rebuild it into one of the greatest cities in the world.

Get a guy who can do that with the Bears.

Poles. 3 years into the job a d they have one pro bowler.
What who beat out Troy Taylor?!

Looked it up. I know people vote based on, hey my team is good I am excited & just other teams who are good, but the Lions punter got in, utter nonsense. The Lions have the least punts in the league. Taylor for the NFC has the best net yards average actually. Not the best Inside 20 ratio but that isn't always easy when you get tons of 3/outs and are punting from your own 25 often.

If anyone still cares, which you shouldn't, the left side of the line will likely still be Curhan and Borom on Sunday.

I don't plan on watching this one. It's my birthday on Sunday, and I'll be damned if I spend 3 hours of it watching the Bears get spanked up and down Lambeau.

Happy bday bud.

I'm going to watch. I don't know why, and I won't enjoy it, but I'm still going to watch.

Reminds me of when Murph on WSCR had an ex Bear on who had made the Pro Bowl and Murph was interviewing about how he was a Professional Bowler. Player was dumbfounded until he figured out what Murphy was talking about and he corrected him.

Then Murphy blew up at this producer on air trying to blame him, dude was such a fool. Cant remember the player it was a awhile ago but he must have been thinking who is this idiot.
