OT: Bears & NFL Talk 103

“The biggest question that prime candidates have is about the role of team president Kevin Warren, and I think the McCaskey family is aware of that. To that end, GM Ryan Poles is set up to run point on the search, and I’m told it’s because that’s the way ownership wants it. Warren will have a seat at the table and a major say, of course. But Poles will, too, as the McCaskeys seek alignment on the football operations side.”

Once again, f*** George McCaskey.

Rounds and round we go. There's only one way to send a message to these f***ing imbeciles. Stop giving them money.

This site really needs a facepalm emoji.

Yeah, I've already mentally accepted that we're likely flushing the Williams era down the toilet. Only time will tell how long before we trade him for pennies on the dollar to Pittsburgh.

This team flat out won't be a serious organization until the McCaskeys are no longer in charge.

So when do we start the "Caleb Williams demands a trade" countdown? It is clear as day that the Bears are not serious about even trying to win.

I don’t think it will happen. But let’s just say they go with Vrabel and an unknown OC with a spotty track record.

At a certain point he’s gotta consider it, right?

Knowing what this organization does to QBs and WRs…. I wonder if he would ever ask for one. I don’t think he will, but wouldn’t blame him one bit if he did.

Seriously? I have no idea who he is but he’s 83 fricken years old lol.

Yet the Bears owner was a fresh 19 years old when he was born.
Thats the guy the league suggested the Bears use as a consultant and he ended up hiring for the Bears his old friend John Fox who shelf date was long expired when they hired him

He was the Giants GM about 20 years ago. His only coaching hire I believe was Tom Coughlin, who won two Super Bowls with the Giants, so there are worse track records.

His comment was made in jest, Ernie is long since out of the game, of course that didnt stop the Bears from hiring him last time around.
Maybe but it would not surprise me if they actually do bring him back for another round. I mean they did the same thing with Bill Polian a couple of years ago.

Lions D getting destroyed. Won’t have a long playoff run

Seeing what SF is doing to Detroit’s mash unit D just reinforces how terrible the Bears O is
