Look at some of these scores and these terrible teams. Raiders, Giants, Jets, Carolina, Jags, Titans. Look at their records and realize the Bears have the same records as them

Just beyond embarassing

Watched some of the Col/BYU game. If Shadeur Sanders is the best QB in the draft and will go 1 or 1, this is the worst QB draft in NFL history.
Then I supposed the Giants (or whomever gets the #1 pick) will be looking for a new QB in 4-5 years. I am not high on Sanders at all. In fact, he might be the most overrated QB in this class. But agree on it being one of the worst QB draft in history. 2002 class rivals this years class. (2013 and 2007 are also in the discussion.)

-------------

Albert Breer stated earlier that Ben Johnson prefers the JAX job. He also said that the Bears want a guy who "embodies Chicago" (rollseyes). If either of what Breer said is remotely true, then the Bears are in trouble.

‘Embodies Chicago’ means nothing. That’s meatball nonsense. I want the complete opposite of what ‘Bear football’ has been for the last 50 years. I want to see a team that can put up 40 every game

I agree but that is a what Breer is reporting about what McCaskey wants in their new HC.

I fully expect the Bears to screw up this offseason. That means Poles stays and the HC being somebody like Vrabel.

I can think of a few reasons why Ben Johnson probably should prefer JAX:

1) Billionaire owner who will spend whatever he needs to spend. As opposed to the cheap McCaskey's. He would probably get his 15 mi x 5 at JAX.
2) The Bears division is brutal right now. You not only take on the monumental task of winning despite the McCaskey's. But you have to do it against the young and talented Lions, Vikings and Packers year in and year out.
3) You dont have the GM/coach carousel problem that the Bears have created. JAX should have a new GM with their coach.

If you can get past all that...and somehow Johnson still wants to come here. Then he must have a monumental ego if that ends up being the case. If he thinks he can win here despite all these things being stacked against him. Sign him up, then!

The good news is - if any coach does somehow win here - it will be bigger here than anywhere else they could win. Maybe even a poor man's version of Theo winning a World Series for the Red Sox in 2004.

Daniels looks light years better than Caleb.

He looks light years better than Caleb

Did Washington play the Bears? Terrible game management at the end of regulation and a noodle legged FG kicker?
missing a 56 is not noodle legs. Multiple 55 yarders were missed today.

You're in a fantasy world where these kicks are way more made than they are.

Daniels is playing way better, constantly succeeding in spots to win and battling hard.

The Bears would be in same exact spot had they drafted Daniels over CW.

Not that any GM would have ever considered that.

Hell I’n pretty confident they would have rushed and ruined Mahomes too had they drafted him.

Daniels has "It"

Caleb does not.

People said the same thing about Stroud last year and he looks awful this year. He’s regressed in basically every single passing metric.

Daniels does look awesome, no denying that, but still too early to draw any conclusions.

That kid wouldn’t have been good from 45. That’s why that kicker is on his 3rd team this season.

Santos is in the same boat. He doesn’t have the leg strength to consistently hit from 45+ which guys are doing every week in the NFL

It’s too bad the Falcons weren’t eliminated from playoffs this week. They play the Panthers next week and had the Falcons been eliminated maybe they checkout of that game mentally and Carolina wins and the Bears jump them in the draft. Hard to see that happening now.

Jaguars @ Titans
Dolphins @ Jets

Not expecting the Jags or Jets to win but certainly not out of the question. Especially if Tua is out again.

I don’t know that jumping up one spot will mean much at the end of the day, but it certainly won’t hurt anything.

It's crazy that 4-13 will likely be 9th in the draft. So much for NFL parity. At least this season.

Final week of the NFL season next week and there are two Saturday games? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this would be the first time the NFL has had Saturday games the final week of the season.

That kind of seems like BS and an unfair advantage for Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and potentially Cincinnati who all play on Saturday.

I remember seeing tracking stats early in the season about Qbs throwing to 1st reads or going through their reads.

I would love to see that in total for this season but I think those might be pay sites
