Kid is such a stud. Not even 24 years old for two months.

He comes into the league and immediately defensively bodies Sidney Crosby and shows tons of offensive potential and play. Amazing that so many of us thought his NCAA play if executed at the NHL level would be his ceiling. LOL he hasn't even grazed his ceiling yet. Whatta beaut.

you're gonna have to put my name with no spaces to tag me first of all, and second of all now you're just antagonizing a fellow Rangers fan for expressing frustration at Quick's subpar play. the only difference this game is we bailed him out offensively. usually we won't be able to muster even 4 against Boston and if you're a REAL fan, you know that.

Subpar play? Have you been paying attention all season? After preseason Quick has been the biggest surprise in a positive way.

The thing is, there is still so much untapped potential. Fox and Chytil are hurt, Kakko has been awful and should get better at some point, Zibanejad maybe starting to wake up but still not alive...

Pretty f***ing happy where we stand at this point. Didn't think we could have a start so good.

Same. Kakko hasn't been good but also...it looks like he's a step away from making things happen. I felt today - particularly in the second half of the match- he was playing well. Felt like he's on the verge. Hopefully I'm not just projecting

Watch the Zac Jones juke at the point to keep the puck in play that led to the delayed penalty goal. It was amazing

Jones is improving pretty noticably on a game-to-game basis. Very happy to see it.

Kakko looks completely out of shape. Doesn’t look strong certainly not quick. Just doesn’t look like he put in any work this summer. He legit right now is the worst player on the team. A year ago he was at least a solid middle six winger that made most lines look better. Right now he is a problem.

Bonino will most likely sit when chytil is ready. Can’t touch the 4th line but kakko is by far the biggest anchor up front. Trade him. I’m telling you will never think of him again

One of my friends who is a Bruins fan told me that they have fallen apart since the Milan Lucic news came out. Not sure how true it is, but this Bruins team was unrecognizable compared to the last couple of seasons.

Interesting. I hadn't thought of that. But I didn't think the Bostons were bad today. Thought the rangers were simply playing great D and capitalizing on their chances.

We always bitched about speed. The truth is it is coaching and being in the right position. I never felt we had a slow team, just no plan. Nice to see us flow like that.

Glad you brought it up. No way should Pitlick sit. At very least he should rotate in. Obviously Vesey is the offensive "dynamo" on that line so he stays in. Hate to say it Goodrow should be out mostly because the coach loves the Bonino positive effect on faceoffs and pk.

I wouldn't sit Kakko. I like the idea of a Cuylle-Chytil-Kakko "third line". I think that will bring out the best in all of them.

Seriously, I think a huge factor is the officials essentially staying out of things today, letting the teams play. This is another example of game management being stupid and counter productive.
