Bruins board is hilarious
I can’t blame them. I’d be pretty peeved myself after some of the officiating. and the icing on the cake was the puck hit off the ref which allowed the rangers to maintain possession and close the game out. just an unfortunate and frustrating game.

Their 1 goal shouldn't have been allowed so they can f*** off.

I love blue jerseys on the road.

Igor looked good. Trocheck continues to rule, I still find it hilarious that people didn't like the Trocheck signing. His cap hit is honestly lower than it should before or what he brings. He should be in his prime for at least 5 of the 7 years, that's a more than acceptable sacrifice to make to get this guy in here for this contending window, especially considering by the time he's a "problem" the cap will be so high he will be getting paid probably in the range for his role by that point. Great signing and I actually think Gorton was still the GM he would've just re-signed Strome - that was more of his MO - but Drury identified a player who had a different style and skill set to replace him. Trocheck's speed, tenacity, forechecking, physicality and face-offs are all things far better than STrome had and his skill and chemistry with Panarin is on par if not better. What a great signing. Zibanejad-Trochcek is a damn solid 1-2 center mix, some teams may have a better 1c but almost none have a better 2c.

Didn't watch the game but picked up a pair of gloves

dave maloney went on a bit of a rant saying lindgren put himself in that position and didn’t help himself at all by keeping his hands low at the boards rather than up to brace himself. he put a lot of the blame on lindgren himself, which has been a bit of a recurring theme with him
Boyle said that too, but it was more of a caveat. But either way, can’t go full bore into the numbers there. If 88 just goes in from the side to seal off Lindgren it’s completely ok, not to mention, smart hockey. He was out for blood.

he gets wrecked in every game. its obvious he doesnt position or brace himself well for contact. pastrnak still sees numbers and hits him face first into the boards though.

It’s been pretty widely speculated that Edward’s has some medical issue

Why they keep trotting him out there though is beyond me

Yeah, we didn't give up much. We also didn't generate much but I've said it before: I think this team is more effective when they're boring.
we crave structure. we have enough talent to stay back and still be able to find an opening to put it in the back of the opponent’s net. and our pp is good enough that even if we don’t score, if we draw a penalty we have a reasonable chance to score on the pp.

this was a playoff style game. the rangers will need to get used to this.
