Barzal unhappy with Fan Support/Attendance at UBS Arena

Just had the first small snow storm of the year in the area, National College Championship, Inauguration Day, ohh and the team has the last place ranked PP and PK and is at the near bottom of the conference.

Thats some context of why maybe the building isn’t packed.

The economy sucks right now and New York is expensive as shit. Not easy to justify taking the family to a game when you’re sucking.

When the team is good or at least excited the building will be packed.

So is he no longer upset at Tavares for leaving anymore? He didn't go through the Wang ownership like Tavares either.

Maybe Barzal can offer to subsidize the exorbitant cost of tickets for a poor on-ice product (that he is partly responsible for) so more fans show up? If not, he’s a big baby for trying to shame anyone over their attendance.

Crazy the Isles fans don't want to watch this high flying run and gun season, especially considering the historic season Barzal is having, exceeding even contract expectations!
i actually respect it.

The oilers were historically bad for over 10 years and still packed the building. Never sent a message to ownership that its not okay. At least Isles fans sit it out and get the owners where it hurts.

The Islanders are a prime example of why fans want rebuilds/retools and not keep the status quo when they clearly aren't good enough.

Hey, Matty, we was shovelin ouwa way outta da drive ways gettin hypadermia ova here in Ronkonkoma

NHL tickets today are too expensive for me to criticize fans for not showing up to watch a bad/mediocre team.

Like people have bills to pay and going to a game with your family is likely going to cost around like $200.

$200?! Where the f*** are you buying tickets lol.

I just dropped $570 for 5 tickets to Detroit/Chicago, off center, in the upper bowl. Fees are what get you now.
